I’m Wendy

Growing up in Southern California I was so blessed to have a wonderful dog named Bobo that my brother brought to me when I was six months old for Easter.

We grew up together. She lived a good long 11 years. She was a mixed breed, and she had some Chow in her.

I was an only child, and this girl dog was my world. But unfortunately, I had a lot of allergies and as much as I loved her, I had to learn to not let her fur around my face or my hands around my face after petting.  I could enjoy having her as my puppy and not sneeze and have puffy eyes if I washed my hands often. She was a gem though, and worth gold to me. She was my playmate, my secret keeper, my protector, my sister, everything!

My parents raised puppies with this beautiful Bobo, and all who took one of her puppies still to this day that I am in contact with say that they were the best dogs they’ve ever had.

My family

Both my husband and I grew up with dogs in our family. But our busy lifestyle caused us to choose not to have pets.

My husband passed away suddenly, and I really felt that at that time a puppy would fill my life and my children’s days with something to wake up to every morning as we healed as a family. We chose a toy poodle and we named him Cooper. He was our world that summer and he helped us heal, was so smart and so fun! The best thing about having a poodle, was that I could enjoy him without allergies.

Three years ago, I retired to Utah. With a big backyard and lots of hope. I thought so much about raising puppies that would change peoples hearts and help them in ways that they never imagined as my dogs have. My sweet Cooper is 15 years old. The kids have moved on to their own places to live, but they love dogs as I do. Luckily, my son lives not too far from me here in Utah and is a great help to me. I would love to get my daughter to come to Utah, maybe someday. But she visits often. We are a very close family.
